Regence BlueShield (in Washington) now the Home Plan for the Uniform Medical Plan

In January, our sister company Regence BlueShield (in Washington) became the Home Plan for the Uniform Medical Plan (UMP), the Washington State Health Care Authority's (HCA) self-insured health plan.

If your office delivers care to UMP members, treat claims for these members as any other out-of-area (BlueCard^®) member.

Important reminders:

• Submit claims to Regence BlueShield of Idaho
• Reimbursement will be based on your participating or preferred network status
• Member cards will include the PPO in the suitcase logo
